This technical document describes a flexible risk-based approach to compliant GxP regulated computerized systems, based on scalable specification and verification. GAMP 5 applies the general principles of ICH Q9 to describe a five step process, shown in the figure 2, for risk management as an integral part of achieving and maintaining system compliance.
